The Pit Heads



The faces and objects pictured below are carved from the pits of fruit such as peach, plum, apricot, olive, sweet cherry, wild cherry and even the seed from the dogwood tree. I hope that you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed carving them!





These are some of my recent carvings!

The two on the left are wild cherry and sweet cherry pits. The two on the right are olive pits!

The alien is carved from a sweet cherry pit.



This skull was carved from a sweet black cherry pit



The members of this happy looking crew were also carved from sweet black cherry pits




These five little guys are the two smallest pits in my hand above, they were
carved from choke cherry pits, the smallest cherry pits I could find!
