I am truly entertained with this spoof of Netflix’s 1980s-era series.
@penneydesign makes fake let’s-plays of “bad retro video game tie-ins that were clearly rushed, share very little of the storyline and completely misunderstand the source material.”
In the case of Stranger Things it’s not even that bad if you ask me, just a bit in-genre frustrating. The pixel art looks great and my love for the TV show would easily blind me into playing the shit out of this back in 1988.
Penny Design’s other creations shine a truer light at shoddy licensed games.
