    • So how does a Russian look ?

The common misconception is that there is something like a Russian tribe from which the present-day Russians originate. This is not true. Russians are a melting pot of many tribes, most of which are Siberian. Hence the slant eyes, high cheekbones and other Asian features found in many Russians.

Another thing is that many foreigners do not realize that in Russia there is still a thing called ‘ethnical nationality’ [dunno the correct expression, sorry].

Whereas in most of the world someone with a Russian passport is considered to be Russian, this is not the case in Russia itself. You can have a Russian passport and still will be called a Jew or an Ukrainian.. A relic from medieval times I guess, when setting people apart from each other was common. Divide and rule.

      • Most people in Russia are not pure bread Russians, true. But there IS such a thing as ethnic russians. North eastern europe and nordic tribes where the original vikings came in and settled. (Moscow, Belarus, Ukraine) That is ethnic russian. Not the half asians in siberia. Most russian tribes are NOT siberian. Where did you get this information? Russian blood is viking. I dont see any ethnic russians with slanted eyes.

        • Belorussians and Ukrainians are NOT ethnic Russians. Muscovites are the people who are considered ‘ethnic Russians,’ though a huge amount of Russia is actually Tartar.

  1. Some of those people are absolutely disgusting, it looks like they get in a lot of fights amongst themselves over who gets the leftover bones that someone threw in the garbage can of whatever meat they were eating, that last hit of the cigarette that someone threw on the sidewalk, or whatever alcohol remained in someones vomit after a night at the bar. These people should kill themselves.

  2. this is truly sad, and as a journalism student 30 years ago, I actually did an article on homelessness. Most of these people have mostly put themselves into this postion. Homelessness is the last resort for anyone, If there is a problem, their families would take them it, when the family can not or will not put up with the alcohol, drug abuse, etc. they eventually end up here, and as someone said before about how they fight between themselves, this is true, and the manner in which they go about just to survive is ‘rat-like’. In Western Nations, there are people like this, they have homeless shelters and Employment agenices so these people have a chance, I could not imagine Russia or anywhere in Eastern Europe having these places.

  3. as far as Hungary is in Eastern Europe, we have shelters for the homeless, but in most cases they want to go there, because their home is on the streets
once in the capital a few of them were asked whether they want to stay here or move to an uninhabited village in the countryside and get a house, some kind of job etc., but there were rules: they had to work and alcohol and drugs were forbidden
most of them returned to the capital

i saw another one on tv, asked by a reporter, whether he wanted a job or what
he said no because that’s far too exhausting and he can’t have enough rest if he works

most of these people are not “poor homeless folks” but drunkards, who were thrown out by their families because they couldn’t stand them anymore, so now they hang out in underpasses and alleyways, drinking, begging and playing cards and chess all day

  5. The man in the first photo is a real professional. Notice how he quickly, without distraction, gets the bottle, opens it, and turn it up for a chug-a-lug before his friends can bum it from him.

The man in the second photo is one of my mujahadeen that I sent on a “goodwill” mission to our brothers in Chechnya. He took the wrong train and ended up in Moscow outside a disco where he got “rolled” by some Russian skinheads who thought he was a gay.

Photos 6 and 7 are ladies taking smoke break from “sexy Russian bride” internet dating service where they work.

Photo 8 is ambassador from Tadjikistan and his son, waiting for bus for a ride to their embassy.

Photo 9 is cousin of former President Boris Yeltsin, a man who, like his famous cousin, is not afraid and will not back away from a fight.

Photo 10 is two African men looking for the women in photos 6 and 7.

Photo 12 is happiness of couple who just got engaged, sharing their happiness with a passerby.

Photo 13 is of course the newest manager of New York Yankee baseball team, chatting with his wife. On left is former NYC fashion designer (notice he is dressed all in black with nice trendy short beard, etc.) who lost all his money on Russian Internet bride.

Photo 14 is a man whose free spirit and artistic expression used to cause much trouble for him with police before he answered a call to duty in Soviet army. Now he just enjoys the sunshine and lives on his pension from his service as a senior non-commissioned officer in Soviet army in Afghanistan, cursing Gorbachev and wondering when he will get paid by capitalist corporation for promoting leather goods and other products.

Photo 15 is . . . what can I say? Every man’s dream–a woman of strength and passion.

Photo 16 is obvious scene of trouble about to happen. Man removing black coat wants to fight the baldy wearing blue jeans, with legs crossed, looking away as if he doesn’t hear the taunts of the leather-coat man saying, “hey baldy!”

    • Chubby cheeks are probaply a result of non-healthy diet, meaning the lack of proper food. It’s liquid, often appears with in connection with high sugar/salt -level in blood cells.

The higher the off-balance between water vs. sugar/salt level results in swelling specially around face.

Can be other reasons too, but I’ve seen this happening in cases of dehydration and bad nutritioning.

In some pics there are signs of mugging too. Probaply beaten up not by their comrades but some young people who think that’s all the bums are for. Just like some people in Enlish Russia seem to think. ‘No need to consider them as human beings.’ You don’t have to bloody love them, just leave them be. We are not Gods, just to remind some of you like

  8. As usually … Russians have allways an ambition to rule all around the world, but they have never known how to rule inside their country.
This means they want to export their “Russian order” to other countries?

The homeless men are probably beating on the homeless women. Alcohol is usually the cause of violence against women.

Some of those people sold their homes to have money to drink.
They bored their relatives so much with their vice that they abandon them.

  14. These are Russian people, Russian.
    And I too the Russian.
These people are unfortunate, because alcoholism is almost incurable.
And you in many respects aren’t right, condemning another’s nation, which soul you don’t understand.
Or you want to tell, what in your countries there are no defects? It would be lie of you.
